On the third Tuesday of every month 7pm, at the Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center, we hold meetings to discuss current events or bring in guest speakers, such as criminal defense and civil rights attorneys, members of the ACLU, EFF, and other important organizations. These educational and informative meetings are open to the public. Our goal is to create the opportunity for Evanstonians to talk about the state of policing where we live and the policy solutions that are needed to improve our community. We are owed a more just system of policing that puts civil rights and human rights first. These community gathings will put us on the path.
